About this experience
Morelia International Film Festival
Since 2003 the FICM has turned Morelia into a meeting point for filmmakers from every continent. Each October the city's classic theatres host premieres, a competitive Mexican selection and tributes to international masters.
Outdoor screenings in the Plaza de Armas are free and packed every night. It's the easiest way to see directors like Guillermo del Toro, Alfonso Cuarón or Pedro Almodóvar walking the streets.
